After leaving MoMA we stumbled onto the Roosevelt Island tram. Oddly enough I had a dream about it the night before, though neither of us have ever been on it. The whole trip took about 20 minutes and had spectacular views of the East River and the monumental Queensboro Bridge. There was recently a nice piece in the NYT about a British artist's fascination with this structure.
