EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY

The past couple of weeks have been pretty miserable, this one in particularly something of a fucking ordeal with the temps descending into hell and humidity hovering somewhere in the region of wet underwear. There’s been hardly any rain to cool things down but there was an amazing exception on Friday when a particularly severe thunderstorm rolled through. I was down in the laundry room when I first heard what sound like rounds of cannon fire in the distance coming in at short intervals and heading my way. About a half-hour later it dumped hard with some incredibly violent sky cracking booms and flashes that lit up the neighborhood and continued on for over an hour.
