Hot and muggy today. Lots on intentions to run but all Cara and I could muster was a twilight walk up to Inwood through Fort Tryon Park. Filled with flowers in bloom the park was heady and intoxicating. The foliage up here is thick, verdant and good for the soul. We attempted to make our way through the Inwood Hills park but it was getting too dark, and I honestly feared for our safety so we turned back and walked through the charming neighborhoods up here that most people in lower Manhattan never bother with, because they think it’s like going to Siberia or something to head that far uptown.
