I eat from this cart all the time, and especially after a long swim and on the way home. For some reason gyro over rice with white sauce/hot sauce is extremely satisfying.

I never remember the owner’s name but I will say this, he has a fryer, and no matter how many times I ask for a side of fries he only gives me three or four on top. I guess it’s his way of saying “this is enough for you my friend.”
The guy is a machine, there every evening all through the shittiest winter nights and now in the swelters of SoHo summer.
