THE BRAVE ONE

I knew Neil Jordan’s new film starring Jodi Foster (shown) was filmed around Inwood, but had no idea they’d shot a scene at the 191st station I walk through daily until I caught this frame in the trailer. Pathetically, I actually looked for the recognizable paint chips seen in the wall to figure out where they specifically blocked the action. I love this station so I get my little jolly’s feeling in on some kind of stupid secret.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS IS

Robin Givens was sitting next to him. Seemed a bit weird they were shooting late afternoon with people all over the place. I gotta hand it to the actors though, there was not only crew all over the place working the set, but spectators were piling up across the street, so to have so act natural and work through a scene with all that attention requires some serious focus. I have trouble just being myself.
